Azaad is well experienced in assisting individuals with resolving their high stakes family law matters in Edmonton and surrounding areas, be it through negotiation, litigation, or via alternative dispute resolution.  

Since being called to the bar in 2018, Azaad has assisted many Albertans (both married and common law) with their family law issues.  Azaad takes all efforts to understand each client’s particular needs and priorities, so that he can zealously pursue practical objectives and outcomes on their behalf.  Separation and relationship breakdowns will impact the most important aspects of your life, including upon your children, your financial/business wellbeing, and your overall independence to move forward from past events.  Azaad serves as a trusted guide for his clients: he provides them with the information and advice needed for individuals to make informed decisions about the course of their legal matter.  Overall, Azaad has been successful before the Court of King’s Bench at Special Chambers, Regular Chambers, EICCs, and at 4.10 Case Conferences.  He has also been successful before the Court of Justice at several trials and JDRs. 

A positive aspect of settlement is that it enables disputing parties, to an extent, to have control over their own fates.  This occurs by the parties agreeing to an outcome or to a process that is acceptable to both sides.  However, when finding common ground is not possible, Azaad has no issue taking matters to litigation or to arbitration.  In such circumstances, the outcome of your matter is then decided by a Justice in the public Court system or by a privately selected Arbitrator.   

Azaad graduated law school in 2017 from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law.  Prior to that, in 2014 Azaad graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University.  In his spare time, Azaad enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching hockey, going to the movies, and trying new cafes.
